The most affordable option, supplied as MDF boards primed and ready to paint in any wall color, or pre-finished in white, wood or stone effects. We use moisture resistant grades near kitchens and bathrooms. MDF skirting Dubai homes rely on comes in square edge, bullnose, chamfered and ogee profiles.
The Dubai PVC range is lightweight, waterproof and moisture resistant, ideal for humid areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms. PVC skirting is easy to wipe clean and never needs painting.
Solid wood and veneered skirting in oak, walnut, ash and teak add warmth and luxury, stained or lacquered to match solid wood, engineered wood or parquet flooring.
Made to match SPC flooring, LVT flooring and laminate flooring ranges perfectly. SPC skirting keeps its shape in heat and humidity.

Humidity and air conditioning affect which skirting material works best. Natural wood can expand or contract as air conditioning cycles on and off, so wooden skirting is best in stable, air-conditioned rooms and should be fixed with allowance for movement. In kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms, PVC, aluminium or moisture resistant MDF are the safer choice. SPC and vinyl skirting stay stable in heat and are ideal alongside vinyl floors.
Installation quality affects both the appearance and the durability of skirting boards. Poorly cut corners, gaps at the wall and visible fixings spoil an otherwise good floor.
