LVT flooring is a multi-layer vinyl flooring made from PVC and limestone filler, with a high-definition printed design layer and a clear protective wear layer on top. The result is luxury vinyl tile flooring that copies the grain of hardwood, the veining of marble or the texture of slate so closely that most people cannot tell the difference underfoot. Both are luxury vinyl flooring, and each type of vinyl flooring offers something different, so the right vinyl flooring depends on the room. SPC has a rigid stone core, so it is harder and more dent resistant, while LVT has a flexible vinyl core that is soft and warm underfoot and quieter to walk on. LVT flooring is the better choice for bedrooms, living spaces and hospitality settings where underfoot comfort matters; SPC suits very heavy rolling loads.
