This Privacy Policy explains how INTEX AURA Decoration Design & Fit-out LLC ("Intex Aura", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal data when you visit intexaura.ae, request a quotation, or engage us for interior design, fit-out or renovation work.

We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and its implementing regulations.

2. What personal data we collect

We collect only what we need in order to respond to you and deliver work you have asked for.

  • Enquiry and quotation data. When you submit our contact form, request a quote or message us on WhatsApp, we collect your name, telephone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your project location or area, and anything you choose to tell us about your project.
  • Project data. If you engage us, we collect information necessary to carry out the work, such as the site address, access arrangements, measurements, site photographs, drawings and specifications.
  • Order and payment data. Where you place an order, we collect billing details and a record of the transaction. Card payments, where offered, are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Live chat data. If you use the chat widget on our website, the messages you send and basic session information are collected in order to answer you.
  • Technical and usage data. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and similar analytics data, collected through cookies and comparable technologies.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not send it to us through the website.

3. How we use your data

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
  • To arrange and carry out site visits, measurement, supply and installation.
  • To manage orders, invoicing, payment and after-sales support.
  • To keep records required for accounting, tax and legal compliance in the UAE.
  • To maintain and improve our website and understand how visitors use it.
  • To send you information about our services where you have asked us to, or where we are otherwise permitted to do so. You can opt out at any time.

4. Legal basis for processing

Depending on the situation, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Your consent, for example when you submit an enquiry form, subscribe to updates, or accept non-essential cookies.
  • Performance of a contract with you, or steps taken at your request before entering into one, such as preparing a quotation.
  • Compliance with a legal obligation, such as retaining accounting records.
  • Our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving our business, where these are not overridden by your rights.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary, with:

  • Service providers who operate our website, hosting, email, analytics, live chat and payment processing, acting on our instructions.
  • Suppliers, manufacturers and installation partners, where a delivery address or site access details are needed to complete your project.
  • Professional advisers, auditors and insurers, where required.
  • Government or regulatory authorities, where we are required to do so by UAE law or by an order of a competent court.

6. Cookies and analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary for the site to function, including for security and for shopping-basket functionality. Others help us understand how the site is used, through services such as Google Analytics.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how parts of the site work.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers process data on servers located outside the United Arab Emirates. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with UAE data protection law, including through contractual safeguards with those providers.

8. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are kept for a limited period so that we can follow up and answer any later questions. Project, contract, invoicing and accounting records are kept for the longer periods required by UAE commercial and tax law. When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymised.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections to our website and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in UAE data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Request deletion of your data, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Object to, or request restriction of, certain processing.
  • Request transfer of data you provided to us, in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office.

11. Children

Our website and services are directed at adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Third-party links

Our website links to third-party sites, including social media pages and mapping services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their policies.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
